This is a Dutch recipe, known as Filosoof, aka "Philosopher's Stew".

The English translation of the German name would be "Meat Casserole with Potatoes".

Here are the translated ingredients.

• 6 Potatoes
• 1/2 Cup Cream
• 125g Butter
• 3 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• 3 cups ground beef
• 3/4 cups beef bouillon
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 tsp pepper
• pinch of cloves
• 2 bell peppers
• 1/2 cup bread crumbs OR 1/2 cup of grated cheese
• 1 bunch of parsley
• 1 bunch of chervil
• 2 leafs of lovage
• 1 twig of fresh rosemary
• 1 twig of fresh marjoram
