Slept in all the way past 7am today.

Rachael wasn’t feeling well so we lazed about for the morning.

We walked over to Southgate Shopping Centre along Haliburton, and then a short section along the side of the highway without a sidewalk.

Calico Cat Tea House is where Haliburton meets the highway.

We went to Hearthstone Artisan Bakery and bought a loaf of sourdough for our breakfast.

For dinner, I shredded a handful of the chicken drumsticks and picked onions, dill, thyme, onion, and red and green chard from the garden.

Sautéed onion and garlic in butter. Then added fresh herbs and chicken, and finely chopped chard stalks. Added lemon juice, salt, and pepper, some oat milk, and finely grated parmesan and cooked it down.

Cooked the fresh linguini, drained it. Added the chicken sauce to the pot, and added in chopped chard leaves until wilted and hot. Then added some more fresh Parmesan and the noodles and mixed to coat.
