Saved this refrigerator pickle link on my blog way back in 2010.
Dan Koshansky’s Refrigerator Dill Pickles To each quart of water that has been boiled and brought to room temperature, add ¾ cup of distilled white vinegar and 4 Tablespoons Kosher salt
A quart is 0.946 liters. Also from the same blog, add some pickling spices to taste in each jar:
Generally speaking, most recipes include some proportion of the following ingredients: bay leaves, chilies, cloves, cinnamon stick, ginger, allspice, mustard seed, coriander, black pepper, mace, and cardamom.

Cover jars with plastic wrap for 2-3 days “until soured” and then put them in the fridge.
