Went to Oidé Coffee and then decided to try Takenaka’s new onigiri cafe. Packed, with a line up out the door!

What else haven’t we been to on The Drive?

Mum’s the Word is a cafe but also a bar at night? Unclear what food they have.

Hanai Vancouver looks good, evenings only. Merci Beaucoup Cafe is Vietnamese that Rachael never wants to try.

Ended up at Sopra Sotto Pizzeria. Mediocre?

Caesar salad was overdressed, needed a bit more acid / lemon juice.

Duck ragu with square spaghetti aka spaghetti alla chitarra was underdone (not just al dente). Which likely means they use dry pasta rather than fresh? And, the ragu was skimpy and needed salt.
